Dr. Shapell and Dr. Weigmann are internationally renowned experts in human factor and error management. They have received awards from several prestigious organization, including the Flight Safety Foundation, the Aerospace Medical Association, the American Psychological Association and the Aerospace Human Factors Association.
Attendees will learn how to:- Utilize the Human Factors Analysis and Classification System (HFAC).
- Implement the Human Factors Intervention Matrix (HFIX) to develop focused, data driven safety programs.
- Develop effective error management and system safety programs.
- Conduct an applied human error analysis during an accident or investigation.
- Develop a human error database and tracking system for monitoring and evaluating intervention programs.
Participants will receive all course materials: books, workbooks, refreshments and lunch will also be provided. Upon completion participant would receive a certificate from Weigmann, Shappell and Associates (WSA), USA.

Course Description:
These courses utilizes the US EPA protocol and/ for ASTM methods. Learn the significant concepts and skills with conducting Phase I and Phase II Site Assessments. These assessments are standards for the protection of property investors, owners and managers from environmental liability under CERCLA. The Phase I portion of the course covers the four components of the ASTM 1527 practice. The Phase II portion addresses the planning and procedures for conducting investigative sampling in the evaluation of potential environmental contamination.- ASTM Site Assessment Standards

International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG)

This course covers the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code- the regulations for shipping hazardous materials (dangerous goods).
Course Outline:
- Interpret how to ship and transport hazardous materials legally and safely
- Apply the new IMDG Codes
- Review the latest copies of IMDG Codes and the US DOT Hazardous Materials Regulations (49CFR Parts 100-185), including the latest published amendments and errata
- Receive the student manual and helpful hand outs and charts
- Utilize the support of TSI instructors for technical questions
- Identify appropriate portable tanks and intermediate bulk containers (IBC’S)
- Interpret and use the numeric dangerous goods list and appendices
- Demonstrate the proper placards and marketing fro freight containers and bulk packages.
- Identify hazard classification and packing groups
- Check proper shipping name and identification number assignment
- Identify package selections, marketing and labeling
- Identify how to complete hazardous materials shipping papers
- List rules and exemptions for Limited Quantities
